Description
The mean acceleration (in m/s2) previous to an impact is defined by the difference of the squares of Initial Speed (IS) and Collision speed [km/h], divided by two times of the Brake Distance Before Impact, whereas the initial speed and the collision speed are given in [m/s]. For braking the acceleration has a negative value.
