Description
State the road number for the investigated road.
The road number is the number given to the road. All state-run roads and all larger roads have a number.
The road numbers describe the road type.
- 4-99: European roads and national roads, these are designated e.g. E6 for European roads and rv40 for national roads. Among these roads, there can be an additional suffix, e.g. E6.21, to denote roads belonging to a road system around major cities or smaller roads connecting major roads.
- 100-499: Primary county roads, these are designated e.g. lv172 or lv160. The numbering of these roads is unique.
- 500 and above: Secondary and tertiary county roads. These are also designated lv542 or lv1890.
