Description
Refer to the AIS 2005 revision 2008 dictionary published by the AAAM (please note this is copyrighted material, see www.aaam.org).
The severity of a given injury is defined by an ordinal scale ranging from ‘0’ (no injury) to ‘6’ (maximal).
A value of ‘9’ can be assigned in case of unknown severity of the injury.
