Record the selt belt code for each seat. See the figures below for where the code is commonly found on the seat belt.
The following codes are commonly used on most seatbelts:
| A 3-p Seat belt |
| B 2-p Seat belt |
| r automatic retractor |
| 4 ELR (Emergency locking retractor) |
| m Multiple locking |
| P Pretensioner |
| E Load limiter |
| Z restraint system approved as one unit |
| N Higher retardation limit to lock (Truck) |
