Road component sub-type, this variable describes sub-types relating to Road component type .
The following options exist for each road component type. For road component types Barrier and Median barrier:
- Steel beam
- The barrier is a steel beam.
- Steel tube
- The barrier is a steel tube.
- Cable
- The barrier is a cable or wire barrier.
- Concrete
- The barrier is a concrete barrier.
- None
- No barrier.
For road component type Marking:
- Single dashed line
- The marking is a single dashed line.
- Double dashed line
- The marking is a double dashed line.
- Single solid line
- The marking is a single solid line.
- Double solid line
- The marking is a double solid line.
- Solid-dashed left
- The marking combines a solid and a dashed line, with the dashed line on the left side when facing the DB road direction.
- Solid-dashed right
- The marking combines a solid and a dashed line, with the dashed line on the right side when facing the DB road direction.
For road component type Rumblestrip:
- Yes, painted
- The rumble strip is painted onto the road.
- Yes, stamped
- The rumble strip is stamped into the road marking.
- Yes, grooved
- The rumble strip is milled into the road surface.
For road component type Lane active and Lane inactive:
- Ahead
- The lane is a lane for travelling ahead.
- Right turn
- The lane is a right turn lane only.
- Ahead + right turn
- The lane is a combined ahead and right turn lane.
- Left turn
- The lane is a left turn lane only.
- Ahead + left turn
- The lane is a combined ahead and left turn lane.
- All directions
- The lane has no specified travel or turn direction.
For road component type Median:
- In-level area, asphalt
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and is covered with asphalt.
- In-level area, grass
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and consists of grass.
- In-level area, soil
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and is covered with soil.
- In-level area, gravel
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and is covered with gravel.
- In-level area, leca
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and is covered with leca.
- In-level area, other
- The median is in the same level as the roadway and is covered with any other substance.
- Elevated area, asphalt
- The median is higher than the roadway and is covered with asphalt.
- Elevated area, grass
- The median is higher than the roadway and consists of grass.
- Elevated area, soil
- The median is higher than the roadway and is covered with soil.
- Elevated area, gravel
- The median is higher than the roadway and is covered with gravel.
