Description
State the PDOF for the VRU. The Principle Direction Of Force for the Vulnerable Road User is coded in a x,y-plane similar to a vehicle. The o'clock system in 30° steps is used from the view of the pedestrian whereas 12 o'clock corresponds to an impact direction from straight front. Each o'clock direction defines therefore an angle range of +/- 15°. If the pedestrian has been overrun in the impact, 0 is coded.
