Description
State the wrap around distance (in mm). The wrap around distance is measured from the ground (vertical extension of the foremost centre point of the vehicle) along the outer structure of the vehicle to the pedestrian contact point.
See the figure below for a diagram of the technique for frontal impacts.
The same principle applies for side wrap distances except the measurement is taken through the side plane instead of the front plane.
