Description
State if the truck is equipped with side underrun protection.
Side underrun protection is one or more bars along the sides of the truck, often made of aluminium. Some trucks have chassis skirts instead of side underrun protection (chassis skirts are regarded as side underrun protection). See the figure below for an example of side underrun protection.
